Student Facilities

The Discipline of Applied Physics, as part of the Department of Imaging and Applied Physics, provides a number of facilities for student use.

The student Common Room is situated on the second floor of the Applied Science building (301.220) and is normally available for use by all students in the Disciplines of Physics and Medical Imaging Science. After hours access to this room is also permitted for those students who have valid after hours passes and there is a microwave and a refrigerator for general student use.

There are three student social clubs active within the Department - Club Rad, PHYSSED and the Curtin Astronomy Club.

Students enrolled in or studying for units controlled by the Department of Imaging and Applied Physics may apply for access to use the Building 301 PC lab, containing 20 PC's and a laser printer.
